Who we are

I am an economist with 20 years of experience in green and circular economy. I conducted research and provided advice in numerous fields at the crossroad of environment and the economy, like transition to a low-carbon and circular economy, environmental infrastructure investments, waste and water management, sustainable urban transport, and other. I have worked extensively on applying sustainability in an urban and regional context.

I have worked for and in cooperation with high-profile clients such as DG Environment, DG Climate Action, DG Regional and Urban Policy, DG Research and Innovation, DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW), the European Environmental Agency (EEA), the European Agency for SMEs (EASME), UN Environment, the World Bank, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME), and the Swiss, Dutch, German, US, Norwegian, Belarusian and Sri Lankan governments.

I have worked extensively in most of the countries of the European Union, the Western Balkans and Turkey, the Eastern Partnership countries, and other. I have worked with policy makers, utilities, financial institutions, NGOs, park managers, etc.

I obtained my MA in International Economics in the University of National and World Economy of Bulgaria. Later on, I obtained a Postgraduate Diploma from the Institute of Political Studies, Ecole des Mines (Mine ParisTech) of Paris and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussees (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech).

I am fluent in English, French, Bulgarian, Russian and I am experienced user of Serbian and Croatian.
