Sustainable cities and regions
Most of the world’s population lives in cities and many negative environmental impacts happen there: congestion, air pollution, industrial pollution, land take... At the same time, some of the most interesting and impactful actual systemic transformations are taking place in cities. These cities can become the front-runners in the transition to the circular economy.
We are actively studying different solutions to making cities greener, cleaner, more livable and ultimately happier places. These solutions include urban circularity models and nature-based solutions to name a few. Our aim is to explore the best available breakthroughs and to promote them in a new context by integrating them in urban action instruments.
